LONDON, UK, 7 September 2026 – Awin has appointed Varun Aggarwal as Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO), bringing more than two decades of global product, commerce and technology experience to the business as it enters its next phase of growth.

Varun will lead Awin's global Product & Technology organisation, bringing product and technology under his leadership as Awin continues to invest in an increasingly intelligent platform built around how brands and consumers discover, influence and transact.

He joins Awin following senior product leadership roles at Amazon and Checkout.com. At Amazon, Varun served as Global Head of Product for its Buy Now Pay Later business before leading Product & Marketing for Amazon's European B2B platform, scaling the business across multiple markets. At Checkout.com, he helped shape the company's long-term product vision for platform business and led international expansion across the UK, Europe and US.

Most recently, Varun has advised AI companies on product vision and go-to-market strategy. Earlier in his career, he co-founded and scaled an education technology business and held roles at McKinsey and Barclays Capital.

His appointment comes as Awin accelerates investment in technology designed to give advertisers and publishers a more complete understanding of increasingly fragmented customer journeys. Recent platform advancements have broadened Awin’s role across the customer journey, helping advertisers understand how brands are discovered and influenced, while giving publishers stronger evidence of the value they create. Together, richer AI, publisher and performance signals are helping customers make better decisions about influence, investment and growth.

Adam Ross, CEO of Awin, said: "Partner marketing has spent years getting better at measuring the outcome. The next challenge is understanding more of what shaped that outcome in the first place. As discovery fragments across publishers, creators, AI and marketplaces, the platforms that win will be the ones that can turn those signals into clearer decisions for advertisers and stronger evidence of value for publishers.

Varun combines deep product experience with commercial instinct and a strong understanding of AI. He has scaled global commerce platforms, understands how technology translates into customer value and shares our ambition for where Awin can go next. I'm looking forward to having him alongside us as we accelerate that strategy."

Varun said: "Awin is already one of the world's leading partner marketing platforms, with global scale, deep market expertise and a powerful combination of publisher relationships, transaction data and technology. What excites me is the opportunity to build on that position as AI changes how brands grow and how partnerships create value.

The next phase is about turning that scale and intelligence into even greater value for customers: helping advertisers make better decisions, giving publishers clearer evidence of their influence and continuing to raise what the market should expect from partner marketing technology. I'm looking forward to working with the team to accelerate that."

Varun’s appointment forms part of Awin's wider strategy to build a more intelligent partner marketing platform, combining AI, trusted publisher intelligence and first-party performance data to help customers understand influence across the customer journey and make better growth decisions.
