Awin launch live-data website for Black Friday, analysing data across 4,300 eCommerce websites

With over 4,300 advertisers partnered with Awin, the combined data can be shared instantly and by making it available to all, Awin hope to raise awareness of the power of online marketing in what has increasingly become a key trading day across the globe.

Lauri Koop, Managing Director of Awin Benelux: “In the US Black Friday has a long tradition, but we see that the shopping phenomenon now also gains a firmer foothold in Europe. In contrast to the United Kingdom, until a few years ago established ecommerce countries like the Netherlands, Germany and France didn’t really embrace Black Friday. In the last couple of years however we see a big change online with more and more retailers participating in the sale weekend with high discounts and special promotions. Each year the number of sales is growing quite substantial! We are very curious how the coming days will unfold this year, the expectation is certainly that we again will exceed the results of the previous year. Moreover, this year Awin has something unique; we launched an animated website that shows you real time results and interesting data directly pulled from our platform during the day. A unique ‘behind-the-scenes’ of Awin Benelux!
