Key/Account Manager (f/m/d)

Purpose of Position

As an Account Manager/Key Account Manager, your mission is to manage and grow a portfolio of advertiser clients within our Managed Services team. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding service, driving performance, and ensuring the long-term success of each partnership. Acting as the main point of contact for your clients, you will develop strategic initiatives, optimize ongoing campaigns, and coordinate with internal teams to meet performance targets and business objectives.

This role combines day-to-day client relationship management with a strong focus on commercial results, data-driven decision making, and innovation. You will be expected to proactively identify growth opportunities, improve operational efficiency, and build trusted, long-term relationships with your clients.

For more senior profiles (Key Account Managers), the role involves handling larger, more complex accounts, contributing to strategic forecasting, and supporting cross-functional initiatives that impact wider team performance and client strategy.

Key Tasks

  • Regular client calls and the ability to be reactive and supportive of client goals
  • Generating reports and providing analysis on performance, and ensuring commentary is accurate and insightful with a view to improving activity.
  • Producing competitor benchmarks for Advertisers, while proactively advising on industry trends and identifying opportunities for merchants
  • Optimizing existing publisher relationships and recruiting new and exciting publisher opportunities for advertisers
  • Presenting confidently, both internally and externally, on a range of topics.
  • Developing creative and innovative client strategies in line with a range of success metrics
  • Building relevant and comprehensive client roadmaps to help achieve success
  • Ensuring that you and your clients are up to date with all technology and tracking optimization, and that all campaigns make the best use of these

Skills & Expertise

  • Strong account management skills with proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Solid knowledge of digital marketing and affiliate/performance marketing models.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to interpret data, build reports, and support revenue forecasts.
  • Commercially driven and results-oriented.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Proactive, solution-focused, and collaborative.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus) – B2+ / C1.
