Selling over 250 brands including Dermalogica, GHD, Redken and Alpha H, RY is Australia’s largest online haircare and beauty retailer. Following it’s acquisition by The Hut Group in April 2017, RY joins The Group’s expansive range of programmes on the Awin network with brands including lookfantastic and Myprotein. By launching RY with Awin, the group plan to grow the programme to 20% of the marketing mix.
Beth Worrall, Head of Affiliates at The Hut Group comments: “We’re looking forward to working with Awin and driving forward The Hut Groups latest Australian acquisition, RY. Awin offers not only global opportunities but also a great level of service.”
Having grown from a small operation in the UK to an international ecommerce business with customers in 131 countries, fitness apparel and accessories brand Gymshark is launching its AU programme exclusively with Awin as part of its expansion to the Australian market. It joins Gymshark's UK, DE and US & CA programmes.
Elliot Myers, Affiliate Marketing Manager at Gymshark says: “Gymshark is excited to launch and push our Australian programme to the same level as our other successful programmes on the Awin network. We’re keen to replicate our flying start in the US which drove over $1M USD in the first month of programme launch, and the close to 200% YoY revenue growth on our UK programme.”
Sophie Metcalfe, Business Development Manager Australia at Awin says: “RY and Gymshark are welcome additions to our growing portfolio of Australian programmes. As we seek to establish ourselves as the partner of choice in the AU market, it’s great to have both home-grown brands utilising our network to drive forward growth, as well as international retailers choosing Awin to expand their businesses into the region.”
