Global Branding and Communications Manager - Native English Speaker (f/m/d)

Purpose of Position

The Global Branding & Communications Manager is responsible for driving the global brand strategy and overseeing all branding initiatives to ensure cohesive and consistent brand communication across all markets. Pivotal to driving business growth and maintaining a competitive edge, the role will shape our brand identity, build brand equity and loyalty, and expand our presence in the U.S. and global markets.

Reporting to the Global Head of Communications, you will be the branding and communications expert the rest of the business can rely on to provide carefully considered strategies to communicate our brand values and messaging as effectively as possible, both internally and externally.

Key Tasks

Branding & External Communications

  • Implement a central comprehensive global brand strategy created by our branding agency that aligns with our business objectives and drives brand awareness and loyalty
  • Align with all markets to tailor branding efforts regionally, but cohesively as one company
  • Align with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging in all external communications
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to increase the company’s visibility across all target markets through creative campaigns, storytelling, collaborations and PR
  • Lead and execute activities to maintain Awin’s brand reputation, including corporate announcements and Crisis Communication
  • Support brand sunsetting of subsidiaries to maintain brand equity
  • Collaborate with the Creative Lead on creative assets and brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all platforms, aligning our visual identity with brand messaging.
  • Monitor brand perception through market research, surveys, and customer feedback to continually optimize brand strategies
  • Create quarterly, and annual brand health reports to monitor progress against KPIs

Internal Communication

  • Enhance the current internal communications function, creating and implementing a strategy to harmonise internal communication at Awin
  • Oversee the internal communications calendar, liaising with the internal communications stakeholders from each department to ensure all internal communications are aligned and sent at the right time to the right people through the right channel
  • Empower internal teams to create internal content encompassing Awin’s Values and in Awin’s tone of voice

Skills & Expertise 

Professional experience: 

  • A charismatic branding and communications specialist with minimum five years proven experience, preferably at a technology/software company
  • Native-level English proficiency required 
  • Thoughtful and compassionate copywriting skills across multiple channels
  • Confident and comfortable owning and driving forward multiple key projects and responsibilities
  • Comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders to consult on communication strategies
  • Strong analytical skills, able to report and optimise communication and strategies
  • Previous internal communication experience preferred
  • Previous experience working B2B and/or in a global team structure preferred
