Accountant (f/m/d)

Purpose of Position

To support the accurate and timely accounting, reporting, and consolidation processes for the Brazil, Mexico and US entities, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards and internal policies.

Key Tasks

  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings for Brazil, Mexico and US entities.
  • Support in preparing and consolidate financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate accounting policies.
  • Collaborate with local finance teams and external auditors during audits.
  • Support intercompany reconciliations and documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of management reports and variance analysis.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting function.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support for all journal entries and reconciliations

Skills & Expertise

  • 3+ years in accounting, preferably in multinational environments.
  • Experience with US GAAP, IFRS, and local Mexican accounting standards.
  • Familiarity with consolidation processes and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., MS dynamics preferred).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Effective communication and collaboration across cultures.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred
  • Fluent in English.
  • Spanish is a strong plus
