Written by 2 minute read

As a sponsor of The Science Behind Ecommerce, we speak to Isabel Crawford, Digital Campaign Manager at intu, about their involvement in the event.

Owning some of the largest and most popular shopping centres in the UK and Europe, intu aim to be the market-leading shopping and leisure destinations for retailers and customers. As a sponsor of The Science Behind Ecommerce, we speak to Isabel Crawford, Digital Campaign Manager at Intu, about their involvement in the event.

We’re so pleased intu are sponsoring the Speed Networking session at The Science Behind Ecommerce. Why did you want to get involved with this event?

As a highly data and innovation driven organisation it makes perfect sense for us to have a strong presence at this event with Awin; leaders within the affiliate industry. We see this is as an important opportunity to spend quality time with our key clients, form new relationships and promote intu’s position as a next level publisher.

How do you feel the Speed Networking opportunity will benefit relationships between publishers and brands?

This speed networking event appealed as it provides a vital opportunity to develop and strengthen our relationships with retailers, face to face. As well as introducing our team to potential clients.

What do you look for yourself when networking with brands wishing to partner with you?

We look to work with brands who share our passion for innovation, whose customer base share our demographic and who are looking for long brand partnerships.

What exciting updates can you share about intu ahead of the event?

We are working on state-of-the-art technology to measure customer behaviour on our site, which will enable highly targeted messaging influencing shopping habits on intu.co.uk.

Our company strategy is to synchronise the digital world with the physical. Just one of the ways we are initiating this is through AR/VR experiences in our shopping centres.
