SEO & CRO Specialist (f/m/d)

Purpose of Position:

We are looking for an experience specialist for a 12 month maternity contract cover role within our digital marketing team.

You will continue to drive and execute our strategy around search engine optimisation and improve the overall conversion rate of our acquisition pipeline via our online channel.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of SEO best practices, and a proven track record of driving organic traffic and improving website conversion.

Key Tasks:

  • Development of the SEO strategy for brand awareness, traffic engagement and lead acquisition across all areas of the Awin.com website
  • Work with our SEO agency and our BrightEdge tooling to guide our teams in improving our SEO campaigns
  • Development of strategy for conversion rate optimisation and A/B testing across all areas of Awin.com; publishers, advertisers, homepage, Market Insights, News & Events and any other sub categories.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

  • Collaborate with web development teams to implement technical SEO recommendations
  • Monitor and resolve SEO issues raised by our teams and partners
  • Implementation, analysis and feedback of SEO strategy across all territories to improve SERPs positioning with support from local marketing managers and stakeholders for translation, keyword research and consultation on cultural and linguistic nuances.

Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)

  • Analyse site usage using our tools such as HotJar and Google Analytics and recommend areas for improvement within our new business acquisition conversion funnel
  • Implement A/B testing using ABTasty to optimise landing pages, product pages, and our Lead capture process
  • Work with our teams to support a best in class CRO approach when creating new business acquisition material

Analytics and Reporting

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators for SEO and CRO that make up our departments key results
  • Ensure that the wider team is aware of the SEO/CRO work planned and executed via our collaboration tool Asana

Skills & Expertise

  • Proven experience as an SEO Specialist and CRO Specialist.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
  • Experience with common SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, etc.
  • A/B testing and CRO implementation experience.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in English.
