The 2017 edition of Awin Fashion & Retail Day was our first fashion and retail event organized as Awin, our global unified network. With over 120 participants, the Awin team welcomed publishers and advertisers from several European countries to take part in Nordic affiliate insights seminars and other and inspiring presentations.
Awin is Europe’s largest Affiliate marketing company with offices across the continent. Awin´s Nordic team happily organize this multi-faceted industry event. The purpose of Awin Fashion and Retail Day was to connect and inform publishers and advertiser. In attendance were also a number of global advertisers and affiliates.
Awin's Country Manager Tim Lomborg hosted the event and elaborated on a number of data driven local retail insights. Speakers and topics included:
- Jesper Åström, entrepreneur and author, "Creating Growth in a Networked World". Jesper offered a range of insights most notably including digital tactics. All in attendance received a copy of Jespers book, The System
- KeyNote Speaker Josh Wallin, COO of Tailify. “The power of social media influencers”
- Sara Narvhus, Director Nettavisen Spray. “Monetizing quality content”
- Benjamin Mullen, Awin Senior Business Development and client Strategies Manager. “Let's get started" - a beginners guide to affiliate”
The evening portion of the event featured the Awin Fashion Show sponsored by Ellos. Influencers and street models modeled this season's fashions in a show which included champagne, music and which was received with warm applause by the audience.
Many new business relationships and productive conversations characterized the evening. As always, a tinge of fun is a critical ingredient in such an even. This event ended with a VIP dinner to thank our many wonderful sponsors.
