Where possible, Virgin Media is sending customers a self-install QuickStart pack which means there’s no need for a home visit to set up broadband. The service is currently available at no extra cost.

More than 2.7 million Pay Monthly customers have unlimited minutes to landlines and other mobile numbers, plus a 10GB data boost, at no extra cost, for a month. 

Brand new in-cinema releases are also available to watch at home at a reduced price for customers. 

In addition Virgin is looking at ways to help customers if they find it difficult to pay their bill and visits to any NHS websites don’t use any mobile data.

British  retail stalwart, JL&P is prioritising sections of its Waitrose stores for UK health workers to ensure they can access in-demand grocery items.  Waitrose staff have been told they can reserve core items to help get important basics to NHS staff working tirelessly during the coronavirus pandemic.

NHS workers can also take advantage of dedicated  check-outs in-store.

The telco giant is ensuring prompt payment terms for businesses, guaranteeing small suppliers who provide goods and services will be paid in 15 days as well as committing to the Prompt Payment Code. Vodafone is also assessing a range of resources they will make free to customers.
