Named as one of the top 20 personal finance blogs in the UK, Emma Drew.

Founder of money saving blog, EmmaDrew.info, will be attending The Science Behind Ecommerce as Awin's VIP blogger. Get to know Emma ahead of tomorrow's event and learn the story behind the site.

We’re delighted to welcome you as our VIP blogger for Awin's first affiliate conference, The Science Behind Ecommerce. What about the event are you most looking forward to?

Thank you so much for having me! I'm really looking forward to Nathalie Nahai's session which will look at why we make the decisions we do when we make purchases online. It will be really interesting both as a consumer who loves online shopping and as a blogger who earns money from affiliate marketing.

Your blog https://emmadrew.info/ is a popular money saving site, how did the venture come about and how has the Awin platform helped support it?

I graduated into the recession and couldn't find a job, so I turned online to start making some money. I started my blog, all about different ways to make money and save money, to hold me accountable and warn my readers about money making scams. I help real people make extra money, whether they want to pay off a debt or afford a luxury wedding!

It has now grown so much that I have been able to quit my job and focus on helping other people to make money, save money and live the life they want. Awin has helped me to bring new advertisers to my readers' attention, as well as earning money to support the work I do.

How can those wanting to discuss new opportunities at the Science Behind Ecommerce look to work with you?

Working with me on https://emmadrew.info/ offers a great chance to get access to my audience, who are 65% female, with the majority being aged between 25-44 years old, based in the United Kingdom. I won best frugal & thrift blog and best money making blog at the 2016 SHOMOs, and have almost 60k pageviews a month and 34k followers across social media.

YouTube is my fastest growing social media platform, with one video last month reaching 34k views. I'm really keen to explore a wide variety of options, including but not limited to CPA, CPL, sponsored posts and videos.

What is your focus when looking to grow the site during the next 6 months?

My YouTube channel has exploded recently, with 6,000 subscribers and 34k views on a recent video, so I am really keen to explore how I can grow that further, and work with amazing brands along the way.

Tell us something we may not know about you?

Every single day, without fail, I have to watch Law and Order SVU, even if its for 5 minutes whilst getting ready...and even though I've seen every episode so many times before.

To discuss opportunities, please email hello@emmadrew.info.
