On this week’s episode of Awin Talks, we speak to two partners breaking new ground in the affiliate and partner marketing industry - Moonpull and intent.ly.

First up, Awin’s Paul Stewart interviews Steve Brown, CEO of Moonpull, a UK-based consultancy focused on shedding light on affiliate tracking. Steve’s a veteran of the industry with two decades’ worth of experience and a previous role as founder of one of the early affiliate networks, buy.at.  

That positions him well to speak with authority on the topic of affiliate tracking and he and Paul discuss how it’s evolved over the last 20 years - from the increased scrutiny that local regulators have placed on tracking and user consent to the actions of tech’s gatekeepers to limit the use of cookies and other online identifiers.  

Following the announcement of a strategic partnership with Moonpull, Awin is bringing Moonpull’s auditing analytics to its platform to monitor tracking across more than 21,000 advertisers globally. It’s a unique partnership and one that will inevitably be of huge value to brands, partners and agencies alike. 

Following that discussion, Rob speaks to Katy Hughes, client success director at intent.ly, one of our most high-profile technology partners. intent.ly is an expert in enhancing customer conversions across advertiser websites, and to make accessing its cutting-edge tech that much simpler, Awin has unveiled a pioneering new one-click activation process. Katy reveals more about the new method of implementation and discusses some of intent.ly’s other recent news and updates. 

And that’s not all we have to share with you on this week. Awin Product Marketing Manager Ed Chaput joins Rob as co-host on the podcast to give an update on the publisher recommendations tool. Launched back in February, the algorithm-powered report provides automated recommendations of relevant partners to advertisers on the platform. Ed tells us how it’s been faring since launch.
