Wondercide Triples Revenue Following ShareASale to Awin Upgrade

Wondercide transformed affiliate marketing into a strategic growth engine on Awin, landing +161% revenue after onboarding 200+ vetted partners.

Wondercide is on a mission to protect pets and families with plant-powered, lab-proven pest control. Founded on the values of transparency, curiosity, and ownership, the US brand empowers customers to Protect Their Pack with protection that meets the same effectiveness standards required for conventional products.

The challenge

As Wondercide's affiliate program scaled, the limitations of its previous network, ShareASale, became increasingly apparent.

The lack of robust reporting tools and dedicated support kept the program lean, operating without the strategic insights and modern reporting capabilities to identify growth opportunities or optimize partner performance.

ShareASale's infrastructure, while previously crucial for establishing a base in the affiliate channel, lacked the visibility, control, and partner quality for a mission-driven brand like Wondercide.

At its best, affiliate marketing should deliver authentic advocacy, create genuine product enthusiasm, and spearhead growth. However, ShareASale’s tools and emphasis on last-click attribution prevented the channel from reaching its full potential.

ShareASale’s reach also didn't translate to relevance. Wondercide had an extensive network of publishers, but many were either inactive or misaligned with the brand values and target audience.

Wondercide was among thousands of US advertisers completing its mandatory upgrade to Awin in 2025. From here, the challenge wasn't just about growing revenue. It was about identifying, onboarding, and activating high-quality publishers who could drive meaningful, sustainable sales growth.

Wondercide's upgrade to Awin was completed in January 2025. Ahead of the switch, the brand was already visualizing how the new platform could assist its growth. The program refresh included:

The transition provided instant access to Awin's combined network, including ShareASale's former publishers. With the help of Awin's experts and the Publisher Discovery Tool, it was easy for Wondercide to sift through over one million partners to find top performers in the US pet and home verticals.

Awin also helped Wondercide use both the Publisher Performance Report and GAP analysis tools to identify partners producing results for similar brands.

Once the top targets were found, Awin secured quick wins by onboarding top revenue-driving partners that didn't require integration fees, including Capital One, Honey, Klarna, Affirm, Groupon, Wildfire Systems, and Mavely.

A broader search led to over 200 hand-picked partners joining the Wondercide program in 2025.

Enhanced publisher engagement

Wondercide was now dealing with a higher quality of partner, so its program management had to follow suit. Awin’s tools and managed services made it far easier to build closer ties with partners and lean on their support all year round.

Incentivization

Wondercide primarily ran placement-based campaigns through a cost per acquisition increase (CPAi), unlocking new monetization opportunities with highly competitive commission rates.

Communication

Awin's Communication Center kept Wondercide’s partners updated on the latest offers. Both direct emails and triggered newsletters were used to reach out to publishers individually and en masse.

Creative updates

Wondercide regularly uploaded creatives under the Awin Toolbox's "My Creatives" section, ensuring partners had access to fresh banners and linking methods for new campaigns.

Promotional opportunities and coupon codes were managed through "My Offers," and were both public and privately arranged.

Optimization

The Publisher Performance Report became essential for partner optimization, a virtually untouched aspect of Wondercide’s previous program, supplying daily, monthly, and quarterly insights that identified partners consistently driving traffic and revenue.

Management

With a new dedicated point of contact through Awin, publishers received clearer updates, quicker responses, and more consistent support. Enhanced reporting made it easier to optimize placements and set up unique CPAi opportunities, strengthening relationships across the board.

Wondercide is now building on this momentum by testing paid placements, exploring cross-channel opportunities, and trialing new partner types, like buy now pay later (BNPL).
